The CAQ Quality Assurance Center (QAC) was established in 1993 by CAQ. It is a state-owned, independent third-party certification body approved, accredited, and registered by competent national authorities. QAC has participated in drafting national standards for management systems, including quality, environment, and occupational health and safety, and serves as an important supporting organization for research and advancement related to upgrading China’s quality management systems.

Headquartered in Beijing, QAC operates 20 branch offices nationwide, with a business network covering the entire country. Leveraging over 30 years of audit experience and a team of 1,000+ full-time and part-time auditors, QAC provides certification audits and services across 30+ industries, issuing certificates for a wide range of organizations and supporting improved management and performance.

In recent years, responding to enterprises’ management improvement needs, QAC has developed outcomes related to an integrated management system approach, served as the lead editor for the group standard Guidelines for Quality Management System Maturity Assessment, and introduced distinctive services such as Quality Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) certification and ESG management system certification, supporting high-quality development.
