The results of the 2025 Quality Innovation Award (QIA) were announced on April 23 in San Sebastián, Spain. More than 100 representatives from China, Spain, Hungary, Finland and other countries attended the award ceremony and exchange event, hosted by the Alliance for Excellence in Management Centers (CEX).
The 2025 competition attracted 565 innovation projects. After two rounds of international evaluation, 24 projects received awards or prizes across different categories, including six projects recommended by China Association for Quality (CAQ).
During the event, award-winning organizations shared their quality innovation practices. Projects from China, including Geely Intelligent Diagnostic System(GIDS) and "Mu Yao" Intelligent Design Platform for Aircraft, received wide attention from participants.
Following the event, the QIA Round Table Meeting announced that the award would be renamed the Quality & Sustainability Innovation Award (QSIA), marking a new stage of development with sustainability formally integrated into the core framework of the competition. As the chair organization of QIA Round Table, CAQ will continue to promote international quality innovation cooperation and support organizations in advancing quality-driven, responsible and sustainable innovation.
