From 29th Dec. to 30th Dec., 2020, CAQ successfully held the Finals of the 4th National QC Circle Story Competition in the form of online video evaluation. 8 first prize stories, 20 second prize stories and 18 third prize stories were selected and 5 sub-division organizers were awarded " the best organization award".  

CAQ and EFQM signed New Strategic Partnership agreement. Mr. Duan Yonggang, the Vice President & Secretary General of CAQ said: “As the most authoritative professional quality organization in China, China Association for Quality (CAQ) has been developing cooperation and exchanges with quality organizations in other countries and regions with an open mind. EFQM is an old friend of CAQ. Both parties have mutually compatible missions. The signing of the new agreement will bring the two parties to a higher level of cooperation in promoting organizational change management and operational excellence.”  ...

The International Winners of Quality Innovation Award 2020 were announced. The Innovation of Innovations prize was presented to the project of Ischemia-free Organ Transplantation Marks the Arrival of the ‘Warm Organ Transplantation’ Era from the First Affiliated Hospital at Sun Yat-sen University from Guangzhou, China, recommended by CAQ. Among the other 7 projects recommended by CAQ, 1 is Award Winner, 2 are Prize Winners and 4 are finalists....

On January 28, 2021, CAQ launched the New Year Special of "China Quality Lecture Hall" by inviting Professor Jiao Shubin from the Business School of Renmin University to share the lecture "Nine Steps to Achieve Excellence: 120 Years of Management".

In 1978, the first QC group was born, and TQM was introduced into China. On August 31, 1979, China Quality Control Association （CQCA）was established. In March of 1982, the State Economic Commission established the "National Quality Management Award", and China Quality Control Association was responsible for its organization and implementation. On March 19, 1985, the First Meeting of Quality Organizations was held，and the System of National Quality Associations was initially established. On April 19, 1987, "The  Basic Knowledge of TQM" television lecture was held. On November 7, 1991, "The  Levee of Life" Gala was held with the theme of promotion quality management.
