      From December 2 to 4, the 2025 Annual Conference of China Association for Quality (CAQ) and the 3rd Global Excellence Conference were held in Beijing.       The 2025 Annual Meeting of Global Excellence Council (GEC) was held on December 2 in Beijing. The meeting was hosted by China Association for Quality (CAQ) and brought together representatives of quality award organizations from 11 countries and regions, including China, the United States, Europe, South Africa, Australia, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, India, Malaysia, and Spain.       The 30th International Conference of the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) was held in Beijing on October 15–16, 2025.       The 66th EOQ Congress, hosted by Quality & Risk Norway, was held under the theme “Profitable Quality & Risk Management-The Role of AI, Adaptability and Sustainability in Performance”. Around 300 managers and quality professionals from different sectors worldwide participated to discuss strategies, tools, and applications related to quality, risk management, and digital performance.       The Award Ceremony of the 2024 International Quality Innovation Award (QIA) was held on May 22, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand.     On September 4, 2024, China Association for Quality (CAQ) and EFQM signed a new round of exclusive cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by Duan Yonggang, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of CAQ, and Russell Longmuir, Chief Executive Officer of EFQM. As leading quality organizations in China and Europe and members of Global Excellence Council (GEC), CAQ and EFQM share a common mission to support organizations in improving performance and strengthening international competitiveness through the application of globally recognized excellence models.     The 9th Chinese Quality Forum was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, from August 29 to 30, 2024. More than 70 representatives from quality organizations across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, and Singapore attended the event to discuss sustainable quality management rooted in Chinese culture. Leaders of several member organizations of the World Alliance for Chinese Quality (WACQ) participated in the forum.     On March 15, 2024, Asian Network for Quality (ANQ) held 2026 Spring Board Meeting online. During the meeting, the election for the ANQ Chair Organization for the 2025–2026 term was conducted. China Association for Quality (CAQ) was unanimously elected by the board members. Founded in 2002, ANQ promotes quality development across Asia by advancing quality concepts, methods, and professional cooperation among member organizations. As a founding member of ANQ, CAQ has actively supported quality exchange and cooperation in the region.       The 48th International Convention on Quality Control Circles (ICQCC) opened in Beijing on October 31, 2023. Hosted by China Association for Quality (CAQ), the convention was held under the theme “Innovation and Vitality, lighting up the Beauty of Quality”. More than 3,000 representatives from nearly 15 countries and regions attended the event in person, with over 1,000 participants joining online.
