    The 24th Asian Network for Quality Congress (ANQ Congress 2026) will be held in Chengdu, China, from September 14 to 18, 2026.     From May 21 to 22, 2026 General Meeting of International Academy for Quality (IAQ) was held in Orlando, USA. A delegation from China Association for Quality (CAQ) attended the meeting and joined discussions on quality in the digital and AI era. During the meeting, CAQ Vice President Wang Lin introduced preparations for the IAQ General Meeting to be held in Chengdu, China, in September 2026. As IAQ marks its 60th anniversary, CAQ will work with IAQ to support a successful meeting and promote international quality cooperation and enhance global quality governance.

    From May 18 to 20, the 2026 World Conference on Quality and Improvement (WCQI) was held in Orlando, USA. Hosted by American Society for Quality (ASQ) under the theme “When Purpose and Quality Meet, Magic Happens,” the conference brought together more than 1,800 quality professionals from manufacturing, consulting, healthcare, education and other sectors worldwide. China Association for Quality (CAQ) organized a delegation of nearly 20 representatives from CAQ, quality associations and enterprises to attend the conference.     On May 12, the 2026 China-Europe Performance Excellence Benchmarking was held in Moutai, Guizhou, China. More than 130 representatives from eight countries, including China, UK, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Türkiye, Australia and Mexico, joined the event to discuss strategic culture, international transformation, sustainable development, quality management and performance excellence models.     Recently, Russell Longmuir, Chief Executive Officer of EFQM, led a delegation of EFQM senior representatives and performance excellence model experts to visit China Association for Quality (CAQ).     The results of the 2025 Quality Innovation Award (QIA) were announced on April 23 in San Sebastián, Spain. More than 100 representatives from China, Spain, Hungary, Finland and other countries attended the award ceremony and exchange event, hosted by the Alliance for Excellence in Management Centers (CEX). The 2025 competition attracted 565 innovation projects. After two rounds of international evaluation, 24 projects received awards or prizes across different categories, including six projects recommended by China Association for Quality (CAQ). During the event, award-winning organizations shared their quality innovation practices.     China Association for Quality (CAQ) recently visited the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) in the United Kingdom for a special exchange. During the visit, CAQ Executive Vice President Duan Yonggang and CQI Chair Rashad Issa signed a strategic cooperation memorandum on behalf of the two organizations. As influential quality organizations in China and the UK, CAQ and CQI have long supported quality capability building, continuous improvement and the development of quality culture.
